Today’s Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:12-16
Final Exhortations, Greetings, and Benediction 12 But we appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to respect those who labor among you and have charge of you in the Lord and admonish you; 13 esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves. 14 And we urge you, brothers and sisters, to admonish the idlers, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with all of them. 15 See that none of you repays evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to all. 16  ..read more

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 19:1-4
God’s Glory in Creation and the Law To the leader. A Psalm of David.
1 The heavens are telling the glory of God,
and the firmament[a] proclaims his handiwork.
2 Day to day pours forth speech,
and night to night declares knowledge.
3 There is no speech, nor are there words;
their voice is not heard;
4 yet their voice[b] goes out through all the earth
and their words to the end of the world.
In the heavens[c] he has set a tent for the ..read more

Today’s Scripture: Matthew 18:1-5
True Greatness 18 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” 2 He called a child, whom he put among them, 3 and said, “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Whoever becomes humble like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 Whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.

Today’s Scripture: Colossians 4:2-6
Further Instructions 2 Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving. 3 At the same time, pray for us as well, that God will open to us a door for the word, that we may declare the mystery of Christ, for which I am in prison, 4 so that I may reveal it clearly, as I should. 5 Conduct yourselves wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time.[a] 6 Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to answer everyone.

Today’s Scripture: 1 Peter 5:1-10
Tending the Flock of God 5 Now as an elder myself and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, as well as one who shares in the glory to be revealed, I exhort the elders among you 2 to tend the flock of God that is in your charge, exercising the oversight,[a] not under compulsion but willingly, as God would have you do it,[b] not for sordid gain but eagerly. 3 Do not lord it over those in your charge, but be examples to the flock. 4 And when the chief shepherd appears, you will win the crown of glory that never fades ..read more

Dear Friends,
My experience serving the Church began at a young age when I watched my dad sing in the choir, usher, and teach Sunday School classes. The relationships he made impacted my family directly as many of those people became close family friends that we did life with through my youth. Then, as an adult, it was natural for me to participate in our children’s ministry classes and serve on the hostess committee. Again, I still have relationships with the people I worked alongside and know I can count on them for prayer, intercession, and true Christian guidance in my life decisions. Memo ..read more
