Team Cigar Review: Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Capa Especial Belle Encre
Developing Palates

The Ecuador Sumatra variation of the 10th Anniversary was a good choice. The profile for most of the smoking experience was an enjoyable one, giving sweet cedar, game/meatiness and plenty of roasted nut creaminess. There's also something special about a perfecto in which it's enticing to look at, especially following its burn line. More of this Tatuaje 10th Anniversary Capa Especial Belle Encre please. Personal Cigar Review: Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 8-5-8 Sun Grown
Developing Palates
by Aaron Loomis

The Arturo Fuente Flor Fina 8-5-8 Sun Grown had a nice profile through the first tow thirds with the toasted cedar, baking spice and meatiness with a nice chewy smoke. The final third took a step back as the meatiness departed and some wood staleness and bitterness joined in. It's nice coming back to some of these long standing lines that deliver with a very approachable price point. I'd easily come back to this cigar in the future. Team Cigar Review: CAO Amazon Basin Extra Añejo
Developing Palates
by Aaron Loomis

The CAO Amazon Basin Extra Añejo started well, with a nice combination of flavors, but as the sweetness departed in the second third, the profile became average and remained that way through to the end. I didn't find this version of the cigar on par with the original release. It's a step above the Fuma em Corda, but doesn't reach the level that the original or the Anaconda achieved. I don't see myself coming back to this cigar. The post Team Cigar Review: CAO Amazon Basin Extra Añejo appeared first on Developing Palates - Cigar, Beer and Spirit Reviews and Ratings ..read more

Team Cigar Review: Maya Selva Flor de Selva 2023 No. 15
Developing Palates

Maya Selva once again delivers an enjoyable cigar experience with the Maya Selva Flor de Selva 2023 No. 15. The first and second thirds were the most engaging for me, with the last third taking on some hay and wood components that distracted from the other flavors. I would enjoy smoking another Maya Selva Flor de Selva 2023 No. 15, and it will be interesting to contrast this experience against the 2012 offering. Personal Cigar Review: La Gloria Cubana Serie S Maduro Robusto Gordo
Developing Palates
by John McTavish

The La Gloria Cubana Serie S Maduro Robusto Gordo had a promising start in the first third, with interesting flavor combinations that kept me engaged. As the cigar continued, each third seemed to step down in balance and flavor combinations leading to a disappointing last third. I'm glad I had the opportunity to review the La Gloria Cubana Serie S Maduro Robusto Gordo, but based on the flavor delivery, this isn't something I"d return to. Team Cigar Review: Adrian Magnus Black Black
Developing Palates

The Adrian Magnus Black Black was an overall pleasant experience, with the first third delivering the most dynamic flavor combinations for me. I'd be happy to continue to explore the Adrian Magnus offerings, although the Black Black isn't something I'd be likely to return to without factoring price into the consideration. While the cigar was pleasant, I was hoping the second third was going to be more dynamic and keep me engaged. Personal Cigar Review: Brick House Bricktoberfest 2023

The Brick House Bricktoberfest 2023 started out with an engaging and interesting first third, while the second and last thirds weren't as dynamic for me, the flavors were still balanced and pleasant. Despite the overall rating, this cigar was pleasant to smoke and I enjoyed the restrained nature of the strength. Team Cigar Review: Somm Rioja Robusto

The first third had a good showing of fuller flavors in pepper, hay, cream, nuts and construction paper. However, as the second progressed, staleness overtook the profile and the flavors became less distinct. With all that said, this Somm Rioja Robusto is a pass for me. Team Cigar Review: Espinosa Sumatra Toro
Developing Palates

The flavor profile of the Espinosa Sumatra Toro was overall an enjoyable one. Tons of creaminess in cedar, stone fruit and coffee. But the creaminess didn't overwhelm as it did a good job of interplaying against the aforementioned notes. Slight tick down for the construction of burn and draw (but not a material one). With all that said, I'd be happy to smoke more of these. Personal Cigar Review: La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut Monarch
Developing Palates

The La Aroma de Cuba Connecticut Monarch had an average flavor profile throughout. Really just focused around the toasted cedar, baking spice transitioning to black pepper and earth. I was interested to try this vitola after having reviewed the Corona previously to see how a larger ring gauge would effect the flavor profile. It turns out, that I prefer the Corona and don't really see myself coming back to this size.
