Hi! I am Maria and I am currently completing my Communication and Media thesis. I am researching the branding of gamified language learning services and I am looking for survey participants.
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and obviously, your answers will be treated anonymously and confidentially. I would greatly appreciate your participation. To thank you for your time I will award two randomly picked participants with 5 euro Amazon gift cards:)
Thank you in advance!

Hello, I teach a graduate Business Intelligence and Data Analytics course. Gamification seems to be a buzzword now, and most of us are pretty unfamiliar with the term. I've been asked to incorporate some sort of gamification element into my course, starting in August 2024.
How do we define gamification? It seems to be left wide open, but, I will be asked to present on my experience and student outcomes sometimes next year, so however I define and execute gamification will likely become my College's approach, thus I guess I should not be too simplistic or narrow.

Hi I’m developing an app that will be utilizing gamification techniques and I need to collect potential user data to decide what features to include and which directions to go with it. If any of you would like to be part of my focus group, I have a 5 question free response survey I need as many people as possible to take it. I’ll have other surveys in the near future too once I have a good amount of answers for the first one. Any takers?

Hello, I've read Yukai- chou and I can't manage to gamify life at all, but I really have the impression that gamification is only based on the development of sites or applications in order to make a business out of it, but when I try to put it into practice in areas like doing my job or learning a course that isn't gamified, it's impossible. Almost everything that's written in the book or even the game concepts aren't applicable. The only advice he gives in relation to this is loss. I agree that loss is the greatest motivation, the fact of telling myself that if I don't do such and such a tas ..read more

I’ve been trying introcuce some gamification element of Contributing to common Good. It’s the Meaning and Calling Part from the Actionable Gamification book.
I want people to do and create challenges for a common purpose with a clear visual progression.
Some world examples are Wikipedia editors, the Helldivers gamification of clearing the universe from monsters together, etc.
