I’m in Belize on the mainland traveling solo, wanting to snorkel in a place with great marine life. I hear tours are tough for solo travelers as they usually require more people and boat rides. I’ve also heard Roatan has great snorkeling and at West Bay Beach you can just snorkel from the beach, no tour required. I think several tours will total around the same amount as the short flight to Roatan ($260). Roatan would make it simple so I just book the flight and go to a couple beaches. Saw recommendations for Kandolhu from this sub, went for a trip earlier this month and it was well worth it! Made a video from my snorkeling (and a bit freediving) experiences.
