What is limitation training and why it’s an essential part of Krav Maga training Krav Maga training has levels, and like anything else you move up the levels to test your abilities, and give you the skills to cope with ever more challenging situations. You now think I am talking about grading, but I’m not. Let me explain.  Here is how levels of training work. Level 1: Static Training – practicing techniques/situations with a compliant assailant. Level 2: Dynamic Training – practicing techniques/situations with an assailant who is more ‘alive’, offers resistance. Level 3: Scenario Training ..read more

Some of you may remember a post I wrote from last year about the ‘Con-Com’ (Conflict Communications) seminar KMG UK hosted, stating  just how interesting Rory Miller’s events are. Anyone who’s attended the man’s events knows how utterly fascinating he is. Getting insights into Rory’s exposure to real world violence is something all those with our shared interests should experience firsthand! Fast forward a year to KMG UK hosting another event, the subtly named: ‘Rory Miller Live: Logic of Violence & In-Fighting Workshop’. P Camp Israel Day 5: A report by Krav Lloyd Day Five Results. No time for resting on our laurels we headed straight down to the pool area for a few hours with Eyal, going over group corrections. Admittedly it was hard to put any effort into it as the day before had left us all shattered. I for one skipped breakfast entirely for an extra hour’s sleep. The corrections were largely the basics, inside and 360 defence hand positioning, footwork, with some groundwork alterations too. Away to the side each testing pair was being given their feedback, probably the most nerve-wracking part of the fiv ..read more
