Brendon Gale has announced he is set to step down as Richmond CEO. Gale has confirmed that the 2024 season will be his 15th and final season in charge of the Tigers. Former AFL forward Cam McCarthy has passed away aged 29. Carlton defender Brodie Kemp earned a crucial dangerous tackle free kick in the fourth quarter of Thursday’s 77-76 win over Melbourne at the MCG. With the Blues up 76-56 with eight minutes left in the fourth term, Kemp was tackled from behind by Jacob van Rooyen with the Carlton defender’s head hitting the turf after being taken down. David King has called for the AFL to take a stand against Tarryn Thomas after fresh harassment allegations surfaced. According to the Herald Sun, Thomas is being investigated by police for allegedly harassing a woman via a mobile phone.
