Here is a homemade plush version of the Famicom Controller I made as a kid in school I hope it's not too bad (I thought I upload this cause I'm bored and my Reddit account has been somewhat inactive)

I'm desperately searching the origin of a piece from a soundtrack. Unfortunately, all I got is a low quality recording from 2007 of what I believe is an arranged version or a remix of the piece. Most likely, it's from a SNES JRPG or some other SNES game, but I'm not 100% sure. I'm thankful for help!

I am trying to get opinions on this. Looking at games that are still just as fun today without putting on the fanboy glasses. My list in no order is Mario 1 Mario 2 Mario 3 Contra Punchout Zelda 1 Tecmo Bowl Ice hockey Megaman 2 TMNT I know some will disagree on TMNT due to the difficulty but I still find it fun and play it often. I would be okay switching TMNT2 though as it is also still fun and easier to jump into and play. submitted by /u/thehouseofunrest [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi, I'm just curious. I seen what some nes games have some visible artifacts on the top of the screen. But most of the videos on youtube is from emulators. I found as well what nes not showing some top and bottom pixels. So wondering how many pixels actually not appear. Is it 8pixels from top and 8 from bottom? submitted by /u/Majekaz [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Suggestions on games that are good by today's standards?

I've no gaming experience pre-N64/PS1. But recently decided to play Chrono Trigger, and realized I'd been really missing out on the older generations. It felt brilliantly made even for today. So, now looking to dive into more retro games and see what else I missed out on. I tried a few other random snes games and realized old games can be quite the mixed bag 30 years later, so I could use some suggestions on more games that are standing the test of time and still playing well in 2024 like Chrono. Any console or genre welcome Thanks for any suggestions submitted by /u/kjfdkjfdkjfdkjfd [visit ..read more
