One person was killed and three others were injured after scooter-riding shooters opened fire on a street corner in the Bronx Tuesday evening, police said. About 10 shots were fired after two scooters pulled up to the intersection near Townsend Avenue after 6 p.m. and passengers on the back of each pulled out guns, Assistant Police Chief Benjamin Gurley said. A 10-year-old girl was killed after she was struck by a car in a busy Brooklyn intersection, according to police. The victim was hit just before 3 p.m. in the area of Wallabout Street and Wythe Avenue in Williamsburg, police said. The young girl was taken to a nearby hospital, but could not be saved.
