While Brexit may be frustrating for many people, whether it can frustrate a lease has recently been reviewed by the High Court. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is the European Union (EU) agency responsible for the scientific evaluation, supervision and safety monitoring of medicines in the EU. In 2014 it took out a 25 year lease in Canary Wharf to use as its headquarters.
