No children! S is now at big school and N started pre-school today.  She was very excited about going and I had no issues dropping her in. We popped over to our favourite gardens today, RHS Wisley, not realising the Sculpture Trail was on. Fun to see the creative lawn-mowing that had taken place as we entered.  Sadly I needed to be about 7' tall for you to get the full effect but you get the jist I'm sure. Lots of very good sculptures to look at this year and still, I'm pleased to say, quite a few we had no clue what they were. We wanted to give our girls their first experience of camping but at a level I would find acceptable.  I did the whole camping thing when I was a mere teen and have no intention of 'roughing it' again.  I remember the fun when the sun was shining but the misery of everything just damp and smelly when it wasn't.  So, what would meet hubby's desire to get under canvas with the girls and my desire for as close to a 5* hotel as we could get the same way - Glamping (that's 'glamourous camping' to you) - sorted! Harry Potter couldn't cast this spell No, it's not a Harry Potter spell but a little known virus that affects children between 6 months and 3 years. N came out in a rash a couple of weeks ago. As children are, she was fine the day before and we'd been to Wisley having a lovely picnic but the next day she had a rash on her upper back and upper arms.  It disappeared when I pressed it (my first course of action for *any* rash) and she wasn't unwell in herself. The gang My step-sister and nieces came down this weekend and we decided to go and get a few more caches to help them add to their total. Day 1 of impetigo Poor little S.  She has had chapped lips for a few days and has complained of them feeling sore.  Yesterday she used her chap stick before nursery but when she got home, the area under her bottom lip had gone very red indeed. She said it hurt a bit and we put a little bit of Sudocrem on (no Vaseline in the house unfortunately) to help keep it moist and stop it hurting. Yesterday J and I headed off to the Warner Bros Studio Tour at Leavesden Studios to see The Making of Harry Potter.  We were very, very excited. Here we are! We have both watched all the Harry Potter films and have really enjoyed how the story has evolved and the characters matured.  It was therefore the icing on the cake to go and see the sets, props and making of. We have just taken out membership for RHS and yesterday, despite the weather, decided we needed some fresh air so where better to go. At least, that is what I thought until I had my first one. What was the fuss about?  So, you're pregnant and you've missed your period, you've done your test and the line has appeared.  Then, out of the blue, a few weeks later, your period starts.  It's clearly a miscarriage but so what?  There isn't anything much there is there?  It's only a heavier bleed after all.
