I'm getting self conscious that I'm too tall ? He's 16'3hh and will most likely get over 17hh, I'm 5'7-5'8 and have long legs

Shout out to the hubs for holding my helmet, playing photographer, and most importantly getting Ducky’s good side.

Hello,
I would really appreciate opinions on this horse's front pasterns. To me, they look low (he does have feathers). Also, I posted a photo of him in the front. He is barefoot.
This is a young horse I am traveling to see this weekend. I will do a PPE before purchase. If it's glaringly obvious to others his pasterns are low, I will probably just cancel the visit.
Thank you so much for your time.

I’ve been riding for around 10 years but not very seriously (once a week hourly lessons) up until now (more than 3 times a week). The biggest thing I’m struggling with is my position and stability in the saddle. I have a tendency to grip with my knees, push with my seat, slide my legs back and crunch with my abdomen. My trainer tells me I ride too closed and sometimes tight in my body. Is there anything I can do out of the saddle to help this? If anyone wants to see a video of me riding I can send one via pm.

I am an adult who got back into riding some years ago - I own my own horse and do h/j. While there’s a lot of muscle memory from when I rode as a kid, it is also pretty apparent that I never had “proper” training and am just learning a lot of stuff from scratch now, technique wise. One of those things is correct leg position and I am working really hard these days to obtain a quiet, stable lower leg. I feel like I am improving but man, are my legs shot after riding. Which led me to wonder: all of you really experienced and good riders in here: do your legs get tired too or is it mainly becaus ..read more

How did I get two different colored stains?? Any guesses? This pad was brand new and I rode in it once. I’d like to not have to wash it every time I use it .. recommendations for stain removal?
