Hey I’m doing an Apex eval through Rithmic, and I already have a personal NinjaTrader account. I’m getting this error: Please check your account connection parameters and internet connection. I’m logged in fine on the Rithmic dashboard. I’m not using the key Apex gave me, because I have my own lifetime license with NT and they don’t allow 2 keys. Any ideas on how to get connected to Rithmic? submitted by /u/HuckleberryOk3606 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hi! I am an ex-prop trader that trades equities. This is a daily watchlist for trading. I might trade all of the stocks on here, or none of them, on any given day. I might trade stocks that don't appear on here! I hold no positions in any stocks long-term but Amazon/Mag7/general broad market indices. (unless otherwise noted in these tickers). I usually make these watchlists premarket, (or from 6:30 to 7 as time permits), but can be delayed if I'm trading the open. These aren't mean to be taken as gospel or any recommendation to buy/sell. Many stocks I post are <$500M market cap. Most a ..read more

Long time ago a rich guy told me a story how he trades and makes a lot of cash. I will try to share everything I remember and you please tell me the name of strategy if you know it. Thanks So he said that if he buys for example today 1 BTC at $62.5k he will keep it until it falls with 20% or increase with 20%. If it falls with 20% he will buy another 1 BTC(so he will have 2BTC). If it falls again another 20% he will buy third BTC. And so on. If the BTC rises with 20% after the moment of buying he will will sell, take the profit and buy again. And then repeat. He told me that this is a very si ..read more

2024-04-18 What happened the previous day? (Week) After market broke the 18043 support area. The buyers had no reaction whatsoever and sellers kept pushing it lower. Since that drop, the market was making a bear flag which it broke during yesterday and we saw that strong continuation. While the market tried to hold 17795 as support, they failed to show bulliosh action once the price went above 17939. However, as the market was falling from the bear flag, we ended up testing the support area at 17623. The market literally bounce to the tick from that support and saw a nice reaction even th ..read more

I invest in the top 6 market cap companies every year, buy and hold. At the end of each tax year, I update my investments to the current top 6 market cap companies. The strategy is very hands-off and has worked well for me over the years, beating the S&P 80% of the time, on average by around double. However, I have been doing a lot of research over the last 6 months or so in relation to trading, back testing, coding pine script etc. I an looking at ways to increase my annual return on these investments and see the reduction of draw-down as being potentially one of the more beneficial ways ..read more

So basically, I did some simple technical analysis on ETH and decided to take my first Short trade. I had always considered Shorts to be too risky and complicated. (and still do) However, I spent too much time on my TA to not take any trades, so I Sold Ethereum for a small profit. Image: screenshot of my notes and the trade. Please take into consideration that I'm a newbie, and please don't believe everything I say here, as I really don't know all that much. I'll explain my thought process here: Image: a wider time frame view On a wider time frame, I noticed what I thought was a downtre ..read more
