In my thirties, I found myself in a situation where I could no longer ignore or dismiss my mental health as simply feeling stressed or down. It became evident there was something deeper and more complex that I needed to deal with.
For me, understanding was crucial in gaining insight into how I felt about growing up with what I later learned was a disability I didn't know I had. Autism was going to make it more difficult.
Asking for help
Mental health is complex. Asking for help is crucial for anyone dealing with mental health issues. It can be difficult to reach out, especially when there is a ..read more

“When you're at the top you're always going to be shot at.”
CHRISTIAN HORNER
I am quite partial to F1. In one of Christian Horner's interview he was asked about his success and people's attitude towards him and his success.
Throughout the series the F1 teams also talk about their hopes and dreams to be better at what they do, to find that winning streak and why not, if you work hard for it, it is deserved. Others should be happy that you have managed to meet with success.
While Christian Horner isn't shy to talk about his success, it doesn't bother him what others thin ..read more

Everyone has a guardian angel. I have always dedicated my life to a 'spiritual path' even as far back as a child and as a result my angels continue to find ways to help me navigate my life. But not everyone knows to ask for their divine help. They will not encroach on your time, you have to ask them for help.
A bit about 'angels'
Angels are divine messengers who are always there to assist and guide us. My writing is based on messages from the divine realm to help guide and uplift us to help us on our own spiritual path. I pass on their messages, to help us to understand, to help us change our ..read more

The Covid public inquiry is exposing deep flaws in what was Covid decision making.
"With each passing week of the Covid inquiry, it is clear there were deep flaws in the way decisions were made and information provided during the pandemic. And it was both politicians and scientists making mistakes. This much was clear from the evidence given by four of the government's top Covid scientists this week." - (Source: bbc.co.uk)
There are still several concerns regarding the UK government's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, the new mutations of the virus, and the efficacy and safety of the vaccine ..read more

Now the cold winter/fall weather and long dark days have arrived for most of us, you might find your indoor workout routine disrupted by a lack of motivation and outdoors, chilly winds or icy conditions.
Indoor Cycling
If you enjoy cycling but don't want to brave the cold weather, try indoor cycling. You can find stationary bikes at your local gym or invest in one for your own home. Ride at your own pace and challenge yourself with different resistance levels.
Running Alternatives
If you love cardio but you don’t fancy the thought of venturing out on a frosty morning. During the winter months ..read more

It's taken 9 months, but I've only just connected with the swollen muscle and the fact that I've been dealing with dental trauma. I talk about things, but that doesn't always mean I connect with my words, it's weird.
I can bite, chew better and close my mouth properly, thanks to the intervention of my new dentist. My top and bottom teeth finally fit, which is going to take the pressure off the tight muscle. I have some motivation back for the first time.
My health is slowly returning

Loneliness and mental health go together. A state of mind that arises from a lack of fulfillment and contentment. It's not something that can be solved by seeking validation or a connection from others.
Instead of relying on external factors to make us happy, we should focus on personal strengths and personal success.
Loneliness
Loneliness can be difficult to deal with, but it can also be a motivating force for change and growth, not wanting to live in the personal state of 'feeling lonely.' When we feel lonely, our minds may turn to daydreaming as a way to avoid the pain of loneliness. Being ..read more

“I think we underestimate how many people are hanging on by a single, fraying thread, and how, some days, the only thing saving them/us from the abyss is the small comforts of a TV-show, that feels like home, a book that tells you, you’re not alone, or a pet that needs you.”
MARIA HASKINS
There are people in society, in your communities where this is ABSOLUTELY true.
People in care homes; in hospital; people with a mental illness; for people who live with a physical disability, whose lives have been ruined by the pandemic.
For people who lost a loved one in the early d ..read more
