Ending university is a big step for everyone. The three years have flown by and I cannot believe I am in a position to say I'll be graduating this summer! I have throughly enjoyed my course and the last 3 years have been pretty significant years in terms of the work I have done. I guess this is the biggest life update of all life updates, so I hope you are ready! This is a long post, but I promise it is worth reading to the end!  *TWO exciting announcements heading your way!* Despite absolutely loving my degree and having a really interest in psychology, it became apparent in my second year ..read more

For a university student I probably spend very little time on Netflix's, yet when I heard about Special I knew it was something I just had to watch. The rarity of a disabled actor on a mainstream platform is something that should get noticed. I watched Special in one sitting, now this may not be a major feat with it being 8 episodes long (with them ranging from 11- 15mins each) yet I was instantly hooked. So, please enjoy this video of various aspects of my two days at Naidex. This includes clips from the seminar ..read more

However, I took a few days off to attend Naidex 45 and it most certainly did not disappoint! I know there were a lot of people who ether couldn't make it, or have never heard of it before, so here is what I thought of the event. Naidex is a disability exhibition that is held at the NEC in Birmingham every year. It showcases the latest future innovations, with a large focus on independence. Naidex rightly described the exh ..read more

I will not be the first person to say that this year has gone really fast, and most probably will not be the last. Seriously though, where has 2017 gone! Focusing on the little victories can help to get you through a hard week, it can be the light at the end of the tunnel. Yet at the end of the year, it is these small victories which can be the most influential things that have happened.  CP Teens UK became a registered charity Okay, this isn't a little thing as such, but it cannot be missed. On Thursday 16th March I was sat in a lecture and received a message from Ellie (the founder of CP Tee ..read more
