Registration is open online for The Episcopal Church Young Adult Festival, scheduled to run during six days of the 81st General Convention this summer in Louisville, Kentucky. The Episcopal Church Executive Council approved more than $1 million in United Thank Offering grants supporting 20 innovative mission and ministry projects during its April meeting.
The funds come from the United Thank Offering’s yearly Ingathering, which includes monies collected in “blue boxes” at Episcopal churches, designated as thank offerings. This year’s total includes a special matching challenge grant to raise funds for the ministries of the Episcopal Diocese of Jerusalem and the Middle East.

The Executive Council of The Episcopal Church has awarded 19 grants, totaling $140,000, to young adult and campus ministries from dioceses across the U.S. The recommended grant applications were approved during the council’s January 2024 meeting.
Young Adult and Campus Ministry grants provide funding for dioceses, congregations, and community colleges, tribal colleges, and university campuses that engage or seek to engage with young adults on and off campus.

Building on a shared vision for Gospel-centered hospitality and inclusion, Episcopal Migration Ministries (EMM) and the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America’s (ELCA) ministry to migrants have entered a partnership to better train and support asylum-seeker sponsors.
