Before a congregation of more than 2,000 in the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in Manhattan, Matthew F. Heyd was ordained and consecrated May 20 as the Bishop Coadjutor of the Diocese of New York. Following the announcement of the result of the fourth round of balloting at approximately 2:15 p.m. today, in a special election convention at the Cathedral Church of Saint John the Divine in Manhattan, the Rev.
