Howdy! I’m an elementary music teacher who runs a very ukulele based program. I have a few tenors and a baritone but I really want that vintage soprano ukulele kind of vibe. Does anyone have any recommendations for all solid wood sopranos that are cheap enough that if one of my 1st graders drops it I won’t burst into tears?

Hello, I’ve just got a Flight Diana Soundwave and I’m struggling to get the hole on the strap over the jack/strap button. It’s a very wide button and it feels like if I put too much pressure into forcing the hole down it’ll damage the uke, and it’s a damn nice looking and sounding instrument. Am I missing something? Or just a little dim?

have acquired a Guitelele made by Tangi of Hawaii.. I’ve heard and read mixed reviews on Tangis work and well.. most of his Ukuleles online that u find in reverb and eBay, etc; are all going for 500+ with the exception of a few who seem to just want it off handed.. I cannot find a single instance of a Tangi Guitelele though. Not one that’s sold in the past or any priced today or even any that are simply discussed.. so I was hoping someone with encyclopedic knowledge could help a brotha out and give me some solid advice and maybe history in this sort of Guitar / Ukulele made by Tangi.

I have Ohana’s CK60CG. I love it so much that I bought a 2nd one to leave at partner’s when I move across the country. I received it today and one body is longer by at least an inch. I can feel a slight difference when I play it. Is this normal or a QC issue?

I usually prefer a quiet flight but I think I would have enjoyed this! The article says it was a 20-minute lesson on a 5-hour flight so probably not too annoying for those not interested in learning?
As a side note, the last time I travelled with my uke I had to have a lengthy back and forth discussion with ground crew to allow me to bring my uke as carry-on (I only had a small backpack and a uke soft bag) then I see this photo where they let everyone on board have a ukulele!!!
