Background

The Jets look to change their fortunes against the Dolphins on Sunday
The Miami Dolphins have beaten the Jets three times in a row and in 11 of the last 13 meetings between the teams. How the game was lost.
The game winning touchdown for the Seattle Seahawks in Week 13 came on a third and one with under 6:00 to go in the fourth quarter. Seattle had the ball on the Jets’ 8 yard line when Zach Charbonnet took a handoff into the end zone. Let’s take a look at what happened.
The Jets have nine men close to the line of scrimmage against Seattle’s two running back, two tight end set. From what I can reverse engineer from the play, I am guessing these were the initial gap assignments. (Run defenders are typically assigned either one or two gaps to play. A g ..read more
