After last week’s big win, New Orleans is projected to draft much later.
Last week, the New Orleans Saints were projected to select at pick 18 in the 2025 NFL Draft. Now, after yet another dominant win, the Saints are projected to select at pick 28. From pick 25-28, these teams are slated to make the playoffs but lose in the divisional round. Due to the strong start by the Saints, the list of important positional needs has started to diminish, but there is still room for improvement on the roster.

Saints win big again but is it enough to move into the top 10?
The New Orleans Saints have looked like the best team in the NFL so far through two games. A 44-19 dismantling of the Dallas Cowboys should have them in the top 10 in most power rankings across the league. Was it enough to improve their Super Bowl odds into the top 10? Here are how the Saints and their division rivals stack up against the teams with the top 10 Super Bowl odds headed into Week 3 of the season, courtesy of Fanduel Sportsbook:

The Saints offense looks to keep rolling against Philly’s defense.
Alright, I’m drinking the Kool-Aid. This New Orleans Saints offense has been the best in the league through two weeks. Everyone, including myself, thought it was probably a fluke after their domination of Carolina in week one, but they proved that they’re legit with a 44-19 win over the Dallas Cowboys.
This week, the Saints come back home and will host the 1-1 Philadelphia Eagles, who are fresh off one of their worst losses in franchise history. According to NextGenStats, the Eagles had a 99.3 ..read more

After yet another dominating win, let’s see where the Saints rank.
NFL.com - 8 (+16)
“It was one thing to throttle Carolina at home. Good job there. But it was quite another for the Saints to go into Dallas and thrash the Cowboys for the better part of four quarters. I promise I am not making excuses for having them 28th to start the season, but I can’t imagine too many people outside the building were expecting this. Derek Carr is now 30-for-39 passing (76.9%) on the season for 443 yards — a stunning 11.4 yards per attempt — and five TDs, with only a late pick Sunda ..read more

This team has an identity, and it’s nothing like we have seen before.
Everyone watching the New Orleans Saints vs. Dallas Cowboys game on Sunday agreed on one thing: something is brewing in New Orleans. This is not the same team we have seen over the past three seasons.
But what was it, exactly? What did the overwhelming performance against Dallas mean for New Orleans?
It meant quite a lot.
