Will the rematch be as strange as the first?
The last four weeks have been a mixed bag for the Detroit Lions, but good teams find a way to win, and that has been the case in three of those tight contests. One of those was a Week 11 comeback win against the Chicago Bears that saved a near disaster, and now Detroit travels to Soldier Field for an interesting rematch.
A month ago, the Lions offense did not have its best showing, starting with an uncharacteristically sloppy game from Jared Goff. The Lions quarterback has come down to Earth a bit, right as the f ..read more

It appears the Detroit Lions won’t turn to former first-round pick Ndamukong Suh to help their defensive tackle situation.
Even before the season began, Detroit Lions fans were fantasizing about a reunion with Ndamukong Suh, the team’s first-round pick in 2010. Suh has enjoyed an illustrious career since leaving Detroit in 2015, and because the Lions have been thin at defensive tackle, many believed it was time to bring Suh—who has been a free agent all year—back home.

Breaking down the All-22 Film of Lions’ tight end Sam LaPorta’s day against the New Orleans Saints.
For many years, people around the NFL have talked about how difficult the transition is for tight ends making the leap from the college ranks to the pros. It didn’t matter how polished or explosive the prospect was, expectations for rookies were always kept low while the player found their footing at the next level.
