After having 3 kids in her thirties, Jennifer’s body went through 3 pregnancies, all C-sections,
breastfeeding and sleepless nights, all while working full time. It wasn’t until she turned 40 and
her youngest was 1 year old, that she decided it was time to put her health first.
She began eating healthier, started running for the first time, and concentrated on cardio style
training. HIIT training made her feel strong and she grew to create friendships with like-minded
people. She made do with the little time she had and I started to get into shape.
However, after 3 and 1/2 years she still wasn ..read more

The #1 topic that comes up with pregnant clients?
BODY IMAGE
This trumps the “what to eat” questions, the “what to expect while expecting questions” & the
“when will I bounce back” questions (which I’ll get to in a minute, don’t-you-worry).
Finding confidence in your new skin can be tricky. I even remember struggling with this during
my pregnancy. “How much will I gain?” “What will this mean for me postpartum?” I toggled
between days of insecurity and days of totally embracing my bump.
But now as I reflect back I think of 4 things I would go back and tell my pregnant body the ..read more

When Jeff came to us, he was already in great conditioning shape.
His goal, however, was to add muscle to his conditioned physique, but he didn’t want it to affect
his ability to surf by overdoing it with the surplus in calories he needed to add.
That’s when he was paired up with coach Tyler to receive the perfect application. Now Jeff has
done a great job doing just that!
People often worry that building muscle can cause fat gain. While that is true, taking the right
protocols along with accountability gives you the ability to have the best of both worlds.
So what does it take to add on muscl ..read more

Short on time, but gotta get that workout in?
Here is a quick full-body, weight training session that took me about 30 minute
Full body:
Chest Press
Hip Thrust
Barbell push press
Walking Lunge
Alt. hammer curl
Tricep Dips
20 Reverse Crunches
10 leg raises
5 Full sit-ups
I just did as many reps as possible and then moved on to the next exercise, I did this over and
over for 30 minutes straight. I didn’t worry about rep ranges or rest periods.
I’ve been doing these quick little workouts lately, especially when I’m short on time. After about
4 years straight of consistent lengthy training session ..read more

I get asked ALLLLL the time about how to grow the peach.
Genetics is helpful, but I will also tell you that is not the main reason. The main reason is in your
workout regime. I used to be a runner, entering all the local races and basically just going out
and running. However, once I began to implement resistance training, my legs began to take on
a new shape. Once I began to specifically train for the bikini shape, they got even better and
once I began to lift heavy and implemented a good diet as well…well that’s how it really started.
Here are some of my favorite glute and hammie workouts, d ..read more

Do you ever find yourself in that position where you know you HAVE to workout but you have
very little time?
When I find myself in that position, I love to do quick intense workouts. This one is an AMRAP,
or As Many Reps As Possible.
I did 12 reps of the following exercises, circuit style (meaning do one exercise and move on to
the next before repeating) as many times as I could go through it for 30 minutes. I’m telling you I
was a sweaty mess and even sore today, I’m never sore when I do upper body.
So, next time you’re in a bind for time but really want to still be able to crush a workout, g ..read more

Are you finding it difficult to fit in a workout and so you let yet another day go by without getting
your workout in?
I think we’ve all been there. But one thing that helps me is to do these quick but very impactful
training sessions. This one took me 20 minutes and I was on fire.
So, if you’re finding yourself saying the oh so common phrase “I don’t have time”, you can
certainly make time for this one. Time is not the issue, it’s how you’re prioritizing your time that’s
the real problem.
20 minutes, AMRAP (as many reps as possible)
8 Thrusters
10 (ea) Snatches
10 Box Jumps
12 (ea) Jump Lunge ..read more

Did you know that 9 out of 10 people who lose weight, gain it all back and then some….are you one of them?
The reason you can’t lose the weight for good, is because you’re adhering to a “diet” that is not actually a lifestyle for 6, 8, 12 even 16 weeks, that is not sustainable. We were not meant to always be dieting, for survival purposes, your body will finally fight you back.
Toward the end of your diet, you feel amazing, you look your best, you’ve built the confidence…so why in the world can’t you keep it off?
Because even though you feel your absolute best, life happens. Kids need to go pl ..read more
