I am just coming out of a 3-4 week crash where I was sleeping all the time. I’m happy it is ending but now I have insomnia. I’ve had insomnia off and on for years but this is the first time I can remember it following a crash but I haven’t been tracking very long. Anyone else experience this? submitted by /u/turbulent_toast_ [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Getting new glasses

This week I'm getting my eyes tested to get new glasses. My eyes have definitely gotten worse since the last time, but maybe part of the issue is my ME having an effect on my eye focus. Should I mention this during the test, and if yes, how should I explain this? Will my ME effect the testing? submitted by /u/WhatAboutMyWings [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I was recently diagnosed and I just want to scream. I’ve worked so hard my whole life. And lo and behold: chronic illness marched its way into my life. I’m so tired. I’m constantly yawning. Caffeine does little to nothing. My joints hurt and I just want to study and work. God forbid I clean my house! I used to be this headstrong, determined “get it done” woman. And I got stuck with the damn “do less” syndrome; the become a grandma in your twenties illness. And truthfully I’m jealous of healthy people. Like you lucky motherfucker you, give me some of that. I want to go to school and work and g ..read more

Crash: Brain won’t stop

Hi all, I’m new here and really wish I’d come sooner before this crash. I’m currently bed ridden, only getting up to go to the bathroom. I know the best thing is to wear my sleep mask and earplugs and just exist for a while, but when I do my brain goes into full spiral panic mode. All I can do is think about dying. I know you’re going to say meditation, but I haven’t had any luck with it. I didn’t have a meditation practice before, so I don’t have that tool in my toolbox right now. Which is better: resting as completely as possible, but in a horrible mental state or having some stimulation li ..read more

Comprehensive Energy Testing-Chris Masterjohn

Has anyone looked into Dr. Chris Masterjohn’s Comprehensive Testing for Energy Metabolism? I am under the understanding that Chronic Fatigue has different root causes for everyone, so what might help one person might hurt another. It seems like it’s about teasing out your issues with why you are either not making enough energy or using too much of it for survival to not function properly (Ex. Constantly fighting off a virus). The thing might be central to all of us is that we have issues with cellular energy. I know this is way more simple that it really is, but take it easy on me, I’m ne ..read more

Accidentally used my ✨Poison Beans✨

You have a number of good beans ? each day (which you can use without triggering PEM) and then you have some poison beans ☣️, which you can use, but they will poison you within a few days. The issue is, the number of good beans and poison beans varies each day and you don't know for sure whether you're using good beans or poison beans until the poison kicks in later. And then, once the poison has kicked in, pretty much all your beans are poison beans. submitted by /u/No-Property-8635 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Chronic fatigue, limp limbs, POTS, throat ache, chronic migraines, sensory issues, severe brain fog, vomiting, depression, anxiety, fear, unaliving thoughts, a needy toddler, and an abusive husband. This is my life. No support, no close family, no friends, no job, no money, no proper health care. My husband is working to support us and by “us” I don’t even know who because I barely get any money from him. He only buys diapers and some other things but refuses to pay the rent and bills. I am a 26-year-old woman and I have to beg my narcissistic mother to pay for all this stuff every month beca ..read more
