Double Olympic gold medallist in the 5,000 and 10,000m races Sifan Hassan is contemplating to switching to marathon soon. Kenya’s Purity Kajuju Gitonga broke the women course record at the 33rd edition of the Barmer Alsterlauf 10K race held on Sunday (04) in Hamburg, Germany. Kenya’s Simon Dudi Ekidor took the top honors at the 33rd edition of the Barmer Alsterlauf 10K race held on Sunday (04) in Hamburg, Germany. The 25 year-old led a 1-2 Kenyan podium finish as he took the honors in a time of 29:07 and was followed by Robert Kiplangat Yegon in 29:45 with German’s Fabian Clarkson finishin in third place in a time of 30:30.
