I bought a Trek Roscoe 8 last year and have been obsessed with riding. I've been slowly adding things (this week was the tires), but I'd gladly take any recommendations on upgrades/colour additions (and why)! So far: RF Grippler grips, RF Affect pedals, Maxxis DHF/Ardent tires.

Moving from a longer travel 2019 Instinct to 22 element C70.....something a bit zippier. Upped the fork to 140 and a few other lighter things. Really interested to see how my performance compares. I'm actually finding myself more comfortable off drops and jumps than the longer travel bike....which surprised me. Not sure why. took a bit to get used to the extra slack dynamics.

Gonna ride on dirt trails with stones and holes. And on road. Don't think I will take it up rocky mountains much. Haven't been riding.for a while and want to ease myself into it. There is a Ghost Kato 3 for sale. Is this a good bike for what I'm looking for?

I bought this for my work commute through Australian bush/desert terrain. But before that I took it to the local bike park and did some blue downhill trails. It is not very fast or smooth compared to a modern bike but was still fun to ride. Rockshox Jett fork, Shimano 3x9, Maxxis tyres, all in excellent condition.

So basically I've got a vitus sentier 27 vrs, which I got for like £450, but I didn't manage to get any spare derailleur hangers, and now they're inflated to like £40. Therefore, I was wondering if during the lifetime of the bike it would be cheaper to drop £200 on a used nukeproof scout frame, with udh, or not? So basically it depends how often they break, so I was wondering how often you break yours
