Hello everyone. I really can't thank the Dvidend Growth Investment blogging community enough for all of your support these past few years. This whole exercise of writing my investments down and being selective with stocks has really helped power me towards reaching my financial goals. I am going to continue to blog but I'm going to go private. So many of the other Bloggers that were here when I started just disappeared and I don't want to do that. But I'm also weary of people I know in real life finding this and having too much knowledge of my net worth. Thank you to everyone that has sto ..read more

Recent Purchases HOOD and INTC

I recently grabbed 20 IPO shares of HOOD for $38 a share. This is a little out of character for me. But I do love the marketing behind Robinhood and the ease of their platform at recruiting the younger investor. So I'm willing to open a small position and see how it grows, even though they don't provide a dividend.  I also purchases 20 shares of INTC for an average of $53.08 a share. I know they've had supply chain issues and haven't been able to break into the phone market. I love their forward Payout ratio is only 29.12% and I believe this dividend has room to grow. Norrmally I wo ..read more

Recently I purchased 28 shares of INN a premium hotel property REIT for 283.53. This is a little out of character for me because they have not restored their dividend. However, I believe everyone understands why a service REIT would cut their dividend during a pandemic. It is increasingly difficult to find value in this market and I think the service sector has some potential to explode. I already had 2 shares as a placeholder from when I started investing way back. So I was looking at this as a small value move. We will see how it goes.  Disclosure: Long INN ..read more
