October 2024 Planner
Bluewire Media Blog

October is nearly here which means it’s footy finals in Australia. Footy is not for everyone, but when your hometown team (AFL Brisbane Lions) is playing in the grand final it’s easy to get swept up and get behind them. I’m firmly a fair-weather fan and am right on board now that they won the AFL flag in convincing style! Technically I live an hour up the road at the Sunshine Coast where this beautiful rainbow came out on my beach walk today. Also, my dad celebrated his milestone 80th birthday yesterday so we went out to lunch with a group of his mates.… The post October 2024 Planner appeared ..read more

Did you enjoy the Olympics?
Bluewire Media Blog

I’ve been a little bit quiet on the Bluewire News front during the last 2 weeks because ….’how good were the Olympics!” For a spectator like me, I’m inspired by the feats of the athletes. Their commitment, drive and execution under pressure is exceptional. I’m conscious that for every person who competes at the Olympics there are thousands of their peers who had the exact same dream but didn’t make it. There’s something like 0.016% of Aussies who are Olympians. Extraordinary. As you know, my lifelong friend and Bluewire co-founder Toby Jenkins became an Olympian in Athens in 2004.… The post Di ..read more

How To (Re) Engage
Bluewire Media Blog
by Adam Franklin

I’ve just landed in Melbourne for my keynote tomorrow. I’m quite excited to be honest. I’m looking forward to talking about simplifying your marketing and leveraging AI. I’m in a groove with my videos too. I’ve got my content VAs helping edit and schedule them and I’ve got a long list of content ideas to talk about thanks to my AI Adam GPT. Hat tip to my friend Omar Zenhom from $100MBA podcast who taught me the concept of creating content that your clients “need to have” rather than just content that’s “nice to have”.… The post How To (Re) Engage appeared first on Bluewire Media ..read more

Power Of A Content Machine
Bluewire Media Blog
by Adam Franklin

When you build yourself a content machine, it allows you to focus on your highest value and most energising work. This is because once you’ve created a piece of content and published it, it means that dozens, if not hundreds or thousands of people can then engage with that content and get to know, like and trust you. That is a digital asset. Watch on: LinkedIn Facebook YouTube The “digital you” is doing most of the heavy lifting whilst “real life you” who’s done the piece of content once, can then be free to do their highest value work.… The post Power Of A ..read more

Unpack IP

You’ve seen me share marketing templates, workshop recordings, my book and more recently my TikToks! These are all examples of my IP (intellectual property) which you can engage with, share and use — — without me needing to be with you in real-life or in real-time (on phone/Zoom). The beauty of sharing your IP is that it’s the digital version of you doing the heavy lifting. Whilst I am manually writing this email for you (and I enjoy this process), it will arrive in tens of thousands of inboxes, just as it arrives in yours.… The post Unpack IP appeared first on Bluewire Media ..read more

I had a few readers respond about the difference between a consultant and a subject matter expert. Hat tip to John Groarke ‘mentor to consultants’ at JEGMC in Sydney who replied promptly saying: “I clicked on your email as soon as I saw the subject line … because there is significant market confusion over the consultant word and the contractor word … and interestingly I rarely see the subject matter expert phrase. Unfortunately, I passionately believe you have added to the confusion, which is why I boldly included ‘WRONG!!’ in my subject line.… The ..read more
