My new morning commute. I haven't posted since January and it has been so weird being on such a long break! It was very much needed though because I landed a new job - my first full time job since graduating university. It has all been incredibly hectic settling into my new routine but I feel like I'm in a place where I can get back to blogging and I am really excited. Since graduating in November 2016, I kept going with my part time tutoring job. I liked my job but I knew I had maxed out there so I was pursuing jobs more closely connected to my degrees. I'll be honest, it got really ..read more

The Ordinary Serum Foundation

You had to be living under a rock to not have heard about The Ordinary or their super popular release of foundations. Considering they are so affordable and there were rave reviews, I simply had to try them out for myself. The Ordinary released two different foundation formulas: a Coverage Foundation ($12.90) and a Serum Foundation ($12.70). Any way you look at it, they are exceptional value, even compared to drugstore! The Coverage Foundation, as the name suggests, is a more full coverage, lightweight formula while the Serum Foundation gives a light, dewy, weightless coverage. Both of them ..read more

2018 Goals
Rosy Disposition

The new year is the perfect time for new goals, as cheesy and cliche as that always sounds! Last year certainly wasn't bad for me but I feel like a pretty much just maintained the whole year - I didn't really do anything new, exciting or noteworthy and I am usually more ambitious than that. That is why I figured I would write 5 really succinct and doable goals for my year ahead and I would encourage all of you to do the same if there are some things you really want to work towards achieving.  1. Maintain a healthy lifestyle I think this one finds its way into a lot of people's yearly ..read more

I absolutely love reading and watching everyone else's yearly favourites so there was no way I wasn't going to do my own. I didn't apply any strict criteria to choosing these products - I just went through my collection and pulled out the things I enjoyed most consistently during the year. Skinstitut Moisture Defense Ultra Dry $30.15 2017 was really the year I fell in love with Skinsitut! This is the first product I ever tried from their range and it is still my favourite after going through at least 5 tubes. In January, I went to Europe in the dead of winter and this saved my skin! The las ..read more

#Blogmas Day 6: Christmas Break Reading List

Over the holidays I usually have a little more time to relax so I try to get a bit of reading done. I used to read so much as a teenager but I think going to Uni and having to read so much for my classes kind of killed my love of reading a little bit. Here are the books I've been wanting to read for ages and I hope to find the time over my break! 1984 by George Orwell I'm about half way through this one and even though it is a bit terrifying to read in our currant global political climate, I am really keen to finish it. If you are at all into politics and the ways that totalitarian governme ..read more

Boys can be hard to buy for, am I right? My boyfriend is a total tech-head so I can usually find something in that category for him, but as a whole I find men a lot harder to buy for. For that exact reason, I have an assortment of 12 gift picks to choose from to find that perfect gift for him this Christmas! Origins Men's Must Haves Kit $66 Origins is such an amazing skincare brand so when I saw this lovely little pack, I had to put it in my gift guide.  It includes the Blade Runner Energising Shave Cream (50mL valued at $8), Fire Fighter to Take the Burn Out of Shaving (50mL valued at ..read more

I've never thought that women, especially those into fashion and beauty, are very hard to buy for. I know that there are always a million things on my wishlist! That said, I know a lot of people, espeically male significant others, can have trouble thinking of ideas so I wanted to put together a gift guide for her with my top 10 gift recommendations. Hourglass Ambient Metallic Strobe Lighting Palette $90 This is hands down my pick of the season! I love it so, so much. I actually considered not buying it but when I tried it on in store I simply had to have it, especially since it is limited e ..read more

#Blogmas Day 2: Christmas Decor Picks

I am so ridiculously into Christmas decor and generally buying pretty things to decorate for the holiday season. Honestly, I never really used to be as obsessed with Christmas decor but I think it is an occupational hazard of being a blogger and seeing what so many other amazing lifestyle bloggers are doing. I put together a collection of my favourite Christmas decorations available from the big Australian retailers and plan to collect as many as I can! Basically, I combed through all the websites to find the best knick-knacks so you didn't have to. Kmart Of course I had to start with Kmar ..read more

#Blogmas Day 1: How To Decorate Your Tree
Rosy Disposition

December 1st is the day for putting up your tree! For those of you who haven't got your Christmas tree sorted yet, I have 4 gorgeous tree theme designs that would suit anyone's aesthetic and home . I also did my best to do most of these on a budget and suggest some money saving ideas because most of us don't want to spend a fortune on a tree that's up for less than a month of every year. Plus, if you have pets like me, there is a good chance it will get trashed and you will need a new one next year! So when you are picking a tree you can go traditional or creative. It is also a good idea to ..read more
