Back in September 2019 I was commissed by HÄUSER magazine in Germany to shoot No. 49 by 31/44 Architects. The house has just been awarded the 2020 HÄUSER Award and features in the latest issue of the magazine. It is a fairly small new-build house in South East London, but generously provides three courtyards and has beautiful design touches like the curving staircase. In early June I shot the brilliant Colour Palace pavilion at Dulwich Picture Gallery designed by architects Pricegore and artist Yinka Ilori. We rearranged the shoot several times to account for the final touches being applied to the structure and some highly variable weather. We eventually lucked out with a beautiful Sunday morning, and after a quick turnaround the images were featured across the mainstream and architectural press a couple of days later (see below).
