Maitland Extended Family What a great big wonderful family! I photographed this Maitland extended family in the gorgeous grounds of The Regents Park on Regent St Maitland. There are three sons and partners plus seven growing grandsons, and an amazing couple who started this troupe. They all gathered together for their photos on lovely afternoon in Maitland. Golden Family Portraits Hunter Valley There’s something magical about golden hour—the last moments of the day when the sun bathes the world in warm, glowing light. One Year old studio shoot This is the cutest One Year old studio shoot! Cake and balloons and those big blue eyes oh my. I have photographed this little fella and his family a few times before, so it was amazing to capture this next milestone for them. We went for a studio session to match with his big brother’s session. Family Portraits full of fun Recently, I had the pleasure of taking portraits of a fun-loving family, consisting of a mum and her two kids plus two dogs. It was a warm and sunny day, which made for bright lighting and a birthday boy made it a very excited atmosphere. Family East Maitland What a beautiful family enjoying the long grass at Rathluba, East Maitland! These kiddos had a blast with me, frolicking through the grass! The paddock was sunny, bright and looking very green plus the children were excited and keen to have some fun in front of the camera. Fun Backyard session I love the authentic nature of this fun backyard family session I did just before Christmas. They wanted simple and relaxed, and to capture their family in their own environment. Letting the children doing their thing and embracing the bare yard with the Australian icon of a broken Hills Hoist! Snuggles on the lounge was followed by bikes and trikes on the front verandah. Then running and swinging and hola hooping in the backyard. There was chocolate coins offered up as bribes to start the kids off in front of the camera. Sunshine in Morpeth Loving the sunshine in these family photos at Morpeth! We lucked out after weeks of rain to a gorgeous afternoon of warm sunlight.  A walk down the back area at Morpeth Common and a cosy up on the rug was a nice way to spend the afternoon. Lorn Rose Farm Family Photography This beautiful family photography session was at the ever wonderful Lorn Rose Farm! Big barns, wide dirt roads, beautiful trees, country surrounds and farm house are all options at the Rose Farm. For these guys we hung out near the front fence and road. It was a fast paced session to keep up with the pace of the children! Its always a little exciting going to a session not knowing how kids will react to you or the new environment.
