Bible Commentary: Psalm 61
Sarah Titus

As you read through the Psalms, in many passages, you get a very good indication of David’s heart during his massive trial of fleeing for his life from Saul, dealing with his son Absalom, and all that trouble that came with it. His heart is very humble, as he is running for his physical life. And he seems to waver back and forth throughout the whole situation between fear and confidence, as any human would in his situation.  Here though, we find him comforting himself with truth. Let’s take a closer look… Bible Commentary: Psalm 61 Psalm 61:1-8 David starts off in verse 1 being incredibly ..read more

30 Bible Verses About Forgiveness
Sarah Titus
by Sarah Titus

We ALL sin, we ALL mess up, we ALL need CONSTANT forgiveness every single day. It’s the person who says they don’t need forgiveness, they haven’t done anything wrong, that is deceived and in need of a Savior the most.  We live in a fallen world and there’s sin all around us and no one is exempt from that.  One day, we’ll be perfectly on the right path, doing what is right, living a holy and complete life in Jesus Christ, and then suddenly, BAM, out of nowhere, sin smacks us right in the face and leaves a scar.  We can’t seem to get out of it, can’t seem to run away, can’t seem t ..read more

If you’ve ever lost someone, you know how hard the grieving process can be.  Maybe you’ve lost a child to sin or perhaps through a miscarriage. Maybe you’ve lost a parent. They left earth way too early. Perhaps you’re a single mom like me, having lost her husband and whole world all in one day. Maybe you’ve lost a job or an opportunity for a promotion you really wanted passed you by. Maybe you’ve recently lost a friend, who turned her back on you for no good reason or perhaps she believed a lie about you and left. Maybe this marks the anniversary of a long-time pet you’ve lost and you sti ..read more

Entering the Gate of Holiness

So many people think they are so godly. Everyone has something to say and everyone is right in their own mind. They are self-proclaimed experts. They know everything, no matter what it’s about, even if they’ve never personally walked through something.  Their ideals, theology, thoughts, and precepts are always right and how dare you if you try to disagree with them. They hover around others who are weak-willed who agree with everything they say and block and immediately get rid of anyone who disagrees with them. After all, THEY are the expert.  The problem is, they don’t see they’re ..read more

Sarah Titus

I get a LOT of questions all the time about my in-person gifting ministry and I wanted to take some time to answer all the questions in one convenient place. But first, what am I referring to? I gift in various ways but one big part is a local Facebook group where many people give out of the abundance of their hearts, things that might be helpful or useful to others. That could be something like a chicken rotisserie or food. It could be ..read more

I’ve homeschooled my kids all their lives, but when my ex-husband of 14 years took off and abandoned us, my lawyer in the divorce said that I needed to have them in school for a very specific reason and I had to concede. That was TOUGH. Having homeschooled for so long, their whole lives, suddenly being ripped away from my kids and sending them to school. It was a hard transition for my son mostly. He rebelled from the idea of school and didn’t want to do any work. He fought it for a very long time. Meanwhile, I thought everything was A-Okay. I wasn’t aware of the problem at all because he was ..read more
