Room 16 loves to play and explore outside! Every time we did something amazing we put a ‘magic’ stone in the jar. We filled the glass jar with magic stones and so our reward was a morning of playing and exploring outside! Check out what we discovered!  We discovered that something was living in the tree. What was it? There seemed to be a web of some sort! What is up here? These two girls decided to make treasure maps for a treasure hunt. Healthy Streams and Rivers

 Richard (a scientist) came to school and talked to us about streams and rivers. We learnt so many things!  We explored some water and discovered creatures.  Richard showed us these creatures under the microscope.  Richard brought some fish from the stream to look at.  He showed us how to measure if a stream is clean or not. Check out the 100 day party!!  We made necklaces out of 100 fruit loops!  We made towers out of 100 cups and sandwiches out 100's and 1000's...  We tried to hit our balloons 100 times up into the air...  We made costumes and 100 day star party hats...  We played hit the pinata...Did we hit it 100 times??  We tried to write 100 words....mmm we are still going there... On Thursday some of the university teachers visited Room 16. Take a look at the wonderful fun we had!  Then we wrote about it! Have you ever touched a coconut? We touched it, smelt it and shook it. Mr Roberelli came to school. Mr Roberelli was actually two people performing with their guitars. They were a lot of fun and taught us some new songs.   They got Mr Brooker up to act like a bull.
