Throughout the year we have been studying philosophy in fifth grade. We have studied philosophies of Greek philosophers as well as more modern day philosophers. Our fourth graders are wrapped up their Shakespeare plays this week by SCAMPERing! Groups have been studying a play of their choice the last few weeks and presented their projects to the class last week. Today each group began brainstorming how they could SCAMPER the play. Second grade has been learning about structures and engineering this year. Recently, we started learning about man-made structures such as skyscrapers and bridges! After reading an elementary version of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, we had fun some discussing the characters. What would it be like if Hamlet could text Horatio? Or Polonius and Claudius?
