Love making macarons but haven’t made them since end of last year as I was mainly baking cakes/cupcakes, so I was a bit nervous how they would turn out. Pink ones are filled with raspberry ganache and yellow with french buttercream and apricot jam. Picture isn’t great as I took it yesterday night, but will give this box to my work colleague that loves macarons. They turned out full, the pink one I think I undermixed a bit so shells aren’t smooth, but the yellow ones was just the right amount of macaronage (for me macaronage is the big difficulty) but they are all full shells, so happy ..read more

Some of these look okay, but some have blown out feet or are lopsided. Used mimis recipe. 315 for 13 mins. I have had some issues recently over mixing but these ones are barely macaronaged compared to what I have done in the past. After batter is fully incorporated, I macaronaged for about 1 minute and 20 seconds. They don’t seem hollow. Do we think it’s my oven temp is not correctly calibrated?

I'm aussie for context.
First ever attempt. I didn't have high hopes of success the first time. Any suggestions? Baked at 130 degrees for 17 minutes. Theres only a tiny bit of feet developing and they didn't really rise much.
