  These were actually taken this summer. I finally got around to completely editing them. You see the school next to my house have these low areas that they cannot use because they flood with water every time it rains. So, they decided to build these self-sustaining rain gardens where rainwater can flow to and be absorbed while also creating a safe environment for plants and animals. The school was doing summer maintenance and the rain garden was open. And now for my yearly Jersey Shore blog post. This year I’ve been going to Atlantic City, NJ this summer for my annual Jersey Shore time. On this day I went down to celebrate my mom’s birthday at the brand new Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. These were taken at the beach right in front of the casino next to an old pier on the boardwalk.  I had to take some photographs underneath the pier. Don’t adjust your screen, what you see is its true color. Yes, I am wearing a pastel shirt! It’s so far away from my usual bold, dark colors. The shirt is a trendy color for this year: Lavender. Plaid is on trend, too, well bright plaids! But for me, plaid is always in! I just love this top: the color, the silhouette, the lace detail on the ends, and the bow in the back. Because it was a looser top, I paired it with my skinny jeans. And a brand new pair of flats that are so comfy.   Well, I finally bring you another blog post! Last week that just passed was a week full of Jerries (Rick and Morty reference).  Meaning little useless, annoyances that keep in occurring. So a while back the store I work at had a dress party and we were required to wear a dress. I wore this high, low daisy pattern dress I got at the beginning of the season from Torrid. You see, like most big busted women I have the issue where from the top of my shoulder to where my bra wings start is quite short and that means any type sleeveless shirt or dress is too long and will show my bra wing when I lift up my arms.
