Now that the children are back in school, I am slowly finding my groove and getting back into the swing of things. So, let’s kick off my return to regular posting(fingers crossed) with this absolutely stunning Montecito home! the hubby snapped this pic of me with this rasta man at a beach in Portland, Jamaica I haven’t posted in awhile because I’ve fully been soaking up all the goodness that the summer months have to offer. We returned from Jamaica a few weeks ago after spending a blissful month there. I think this ..read more

Embracing a maximalist perspective, architect Fabrizio Casiraghi beautifully updated this home in Miami Beach. I spotted it on T Magazine and was immediately smitten. You can see more of it HERE.
The color on the painted ceiling reminds me of the one I just used in our bedroom. So lovely!
Absolutely delightful home that oozes the quintessential Miami vibes. xx

You know what-this Mama is exhausted! I could truly use a summer vacation right now. If all goes well, we should be taking our annual trip to Jamaica for the summer but I can’t help daydreaming of experiencing the sand and and sea right now. I’m literally counting down the weeks until school is out for the children.
I spotted these delightful images recently and couldn’t find any information on them, so is this even a real place or AI manufactured? Either way, I can appreciate the beauty and tropical vibes. xx ..read more

Although I am only now writing this post, I actually repainted our bedroom at the start of the year and absolutely love the results. I had it in its prior version for a long while(longer than 3 years), as I really loved that coral color. However, I was ready for a change this year and decided to go for it. And I went for it in a big way with this color drenching. In case you might not be familiar with color drenching, it simply means painting everything the same color; the walls, woodwork, ceiling …
I chose Benjamin Moore Pink Palazzo and I love how serene it is. With the ceiling ..read more

Located in a 1300s building this apartment is a true reflection of its stylish inhabitants; Giovanni Izzo and Anna Masello. The couple manages to mix traditional and modern features effortlessly. The apartment is tastefully appointed in exotic wallpapers, bold colors, and unique art.
I especially love the strategic use of the stripes throughout! The color combination in the kitchen is so lovely too. xx

In my last post ushering in Spring, I mentioned I would be back to share some house updates with you. Well, ta da!! Our kitchen cabinets are now a delightful green and i love them! The kitchen now feels like a Jamaican cooks here:-). Though this was just a paint refresh, let’s take a quick look back at where we started with the kitchen.
In June of 2021, i gave our tiny kitchen a mild gut renovation. You can read all about it HERE. I settled on a neutral color for the cabinets at that time because I had a deadline to meet for the reveal (as I was working with Velux who installed a sun tunnel ..read more

I always feel so reinvigorated once the weather starts to warm up and glimpses of new life start to emerge in mother nature. Spring has sprung and I’m so happy about that.
With this new found energy of mine, of course, that means that I’m going to turn the house upside down. SO, don’t be surprised when I show up with a few paint/new color reveals:-). Stay tuned!

Have you ever designed a space and felt like something was still missing…? Well, maybe you needed to add a bit of red. By now, you’ve probably heard about the unexpected red theory that has taken over the interwebs.
According to designer and ticktocker , Taylor Migliazzo Simon who garnered over a million views on her ticktock video, “the unexpected red theory is basically adding anything that’s red, big or small, to a room where it doesn’t match at all, and it automatically looks better,”
The unexpected red theory in interior design emphasizes the power of color psychology and strategic desig ..read more

There’s something about interiors that throw caution and precision regarding the placement of things to the wind. They are so enigmatic to me and feel like a warm hug. I love seeing the homeowners’ collections on display and spaces that are lived in. This delightful home belongs to bookseller, Henrietta Dax and I spotted this tour on The World of Interiors. I love everything about this home!
Did you love this home as much as I did? Just remarkable! xx
