What is lactose intolerance? Lactose intolerance occurs when the lining of the intestine (bowel and gut) has been damaged. However, infant formula will never replicate the variety of nutrients and active factors present in human milk, or the changing nature of breast milk over time. If your baby is not breastfed however, infant formula is the only safe alternative to support your baby’s normal growth and development in the first 12 months of life. There are many ..read more

How to heat formula Fill a jug or bowl with hot water. Place your baby’s bottle in the water to heat up, with the water line below the neck of the bottle. Heat the bottle for 10-15 minutes. Swirl the bottle occasionally to make sure the milk is warmed evenly. Always check the temperature of the milk by dripping a little onto the inside of your wrist. It should feel lukewarm, not hot. Feed you baby immediately and never reheat it. Throw away any re-warmed feed that has not been consumed within two hours. The ideal is to prepare formula as and when needed.
