Is this thing on?? *tap* *tap* Well I guess we haven't chatted since February, but really I would say not since early December of 2020. Somewhere along the way, after getting hacked, looking for a new job, apartment hunting and trudging through the monotony of this never-ending pandemic, I had to pare things down. The blog was it. Since I took my nearly year-long hiatus, a lot has changed. Here's what's I've been up to since December. I moved to Atlanta to work for the headquarters of my sorority, Alpha Delta Pi. I spent 9 months working in the marketing department as a marketing coordinator ..read more

Daily Dose of Prep

The first gift guide of many is finally upon us! Starting in September, my mom asks us for a Christmas list and each year I have no idea what to ask for. This year I had short list of things to put in my home here in Atlanta, but all throughout college I could never get a great grasp on solid things to ask for. Turns out, many people are also like this since just this year my roommate, my best friend, and a few of my co-workers have asked for suggestions on what to add to their Christmas list. This year was full of staycations, working from home, family dinners, long walks, and enjoying the li ..read more

If there's one thing I love, it's glitter during the holidays. In college, my favorite sorority event without a doubt was Christmas cocktail and each year I wore something glittered or sequined and always had such a fun night. Since the holidays look a little different this year, I say that gives you the green light to dress fancier and most festive than years past. I spent all afternoon yesterday searching for my favorite glittered and sequined clothes that you can purchase online and within your budget. Enjoy shopping for 40+ sparkly ensembles ready for your Christmas plans ..read more

Taking on Atlanta with SABRE Safety

When I was in high school, I always walked to school. I lived about half a mile from my school, so walking through my neighborhood was a no-brainer. That being said, a morning never failed when my mom would say goodbye to me and yell after me to look over my shoulder and be safe. Ever since then, she would say the same right before I hung up the phone after catching up while I was in college and now, as I live in a very busy city, she always tells me to look over my shoulder.  Although it’s a nice reminder to look over my shoulder and be aware of my surroundings, it’s an even better feeli ..read more

Atlanta has been full of fall vibes these past few weeks and I am here for it! I am so excited because this weekend I'm headed north to Virginia for the weekend for a bridal shower and bachelorette party. On the way home, I'm stopping in Raleigh to pick up my best friend, Sarah. It's the first weekend in a while that I don't have to work and I can't wait to be reunited with friends and family. Although it's been a busy few weeks I have to say October is the first month that Atlanta has felt truly like home. I have a small group of girlfriends that also just graduated and moved so we're all in ..read more

A few weeks ago, I shared my honest experience of life after graduation. ,You can read the post ,here,,. The post received a lot of really incredible feedback from readers and I'm back today (as promised) with a post about my finances. When I posted an Instagram call out for questions about post-grad life, almost half of them were about money and finances alone so I wanted to share my story and tips for saving money and starting out in your early twenties. Ever since I could legally work (aka any job outside of babysitting), I've kept a very steady work schedule. I started out as a hostess, t ..read more

I'm finally going back into the office and by the messages you all are sending me, you are too! Although I do love an athleisure look, I'm ready to get back into my blazers and heels and sit at my desk again. Today's look is a great fall outfit to wear when you head back to work. My top is one of my most worn sweaters in my closet. It's under $20 from SheInside and comes in a bunch of different colors. It's al little cropped, but not too much to where you can't wear it with high waisted pants and skirts. I styled it with my ruffle hem skirt from J.Crew's 2019 collection. Lastly, I styled it wi ..read more

Stop what you're doing right now and shop at H&M. H&M is one of the those stores I swear by during fall and winter. They make staple fashion for your wardrobe with a twist. They play around with ruffles and romantic fabrics all while keeping your budget in mind. This year, H&M has perfected their knitwear to bring you dozens of pullovers, dresses, and cardigans made in the perfect fall tones. They have meshed the comfy-casual style that 2020 has brought us and married it with a bit of workwear we are slowly getting reacquainted with. For example, number nine - the drop-waist sweats ..read more
