Photo courtesy of Casee Allen We’ve been down the Casee Allen road before. It was back in 2020, during the pandemic, and things weren’t too normal. Actually, the music industry was a hot mess. Even though things were miserable, Allen was chugging along. He had just put out an acoustic album called Hindsight 2020, and was busy helping his son through his virtual school days. As dark as that time period was, something special was waiting in the wings for Allen, and on August 19, 2022, he took a big old Sharpie and drew a checkmark on his bucket list. If you aren’t familiar with Casee Allen, here ..read more

We got the chance to sit down with up and coming, out and proud, pro baseball player turned country music artist Bryan Ruby; here is what he had to say! So here we are fresh off of festival week, did you get to play during CMA? I did. I played a show at the Glen Campbell Museum on the Rhinestone stage. It was good. And then I had another show that night in Midtown at the Distillery, which was like my single release show and that was a really good set. And then the next morning I went into Sirius XM at Bridgestone to read the liners for Sirus XM Country Pride. So I read ‘This is Brian Ruby on S ..read more

50 states in 50 days…. that seems like a mountainous task; doesn’t it? Maybe so but it’s a challenge that Frank Turner has taken on, joined by support bands Pet Needs and The Bronx. Westney Photography 2022 The past 2 years and the obstacles that came with dealing with a worldwide pandemic became all too familiar but now here we are, travel has opened up again and finally we are starting to see a world that feels just a little more like the old days. This light at the end of the tunnel was something that Turner was ready to reach out and grab with both hands. Having last set foot in the USA fo ..read more

CMA Fest 2022 – Saturday Night

Day three and the excitement did not let up! As a country music hungry crowd piled in, yet again, to the Nissan Stadium, it was time to kick off the night with Randy Houser. With the powerhouse vocals this man has it felt a shame that he was in first performing to a stadium that was still filling up with people. Nonetheless those who were in and seated were lapping up the talent on the stage and Houser played ‘How Country Feels’ then ‘Like A Cowboy’; singing part acapella. Showcasing his vocals I was definitely one of the people in the crowd singing along with him at the top of my voice. He c ..read more

Its Friday night, its a hot summer evening in Nashville but there is just enough breeze to make it somewhat bearable and for the second night in a row the crowds are beginning to gather in their droves as they cross the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge once again. Of course the kick off to the evening is not complete without the anthem and none other than miss ‘did i shave my legs for this’ herself, Deanna Carter, was there to get us started. It didn’t take long though after Carter left the stage to bring out Kelsea Ballerini who started her set of with her his Miss Me More. It feels like K ..read more

It was Thursday as downtown Nashville was in full swing gearing up for the first night of CMA Fest after a two year hiatus due to being cancelled during the covid-19 pandemic. The atmosphere was something special as all the excited fans made their way across the pedestrian bridge to Nissan Stadium. Nothing could wipes the smiles and excitement from anyones face as we all prepared to enjoy a full night of country music. The evening kicked off with newcomer Brittany Spencer opening the night with the national anthem. As in past years with the stadium the first main set was kicked off but a class ..read more

CMA Fest 2022 Overview
Think Country

June 2019. 3 years ago. That was the last time that the mile long strip of Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee was last host to thousands of country music fans from all over the world for the CMA Festival. It is no secret that the past 2 years have been tough on everyone, they have taken their toll and this event that brought together a strong country music community was postponed two years in a row. It was almost seeming like we would never get back to the norm that we so desperately were craving. June 2022. It was back! It seemed like a lifetime but as the festival organizers were setting up ..read more

Check out Custom Country for great country gifts

Custom Country came from the endless frustration of finding great Country Music merch… that couldn’t be shipped to the UK! After one too many failed shopping experiences, I decided to throw caution to the wind and just make my own. I love creating Artists merch, so it felt like a natural progression and I’m so proud of how it has grown. The Country music community in the UK has been super supportive and made this an incredible experience. https://customcountrystuff.co.uk/ The post Check out Custom Country for great country gifts appeared first on Think Country ..read more
