Reels for a client are getting 0 views – am I missing something?

I started running a small business Instagram account for a favor. It's a very small account, and has been relatively inactive - just a post here or there, with no consistency. I've been creating content for it now for a few days (reels, images, carousels) but when I look at the analytics, the posts are getting no traction. The biggest surprise is that there are no non-follower views. My latest reel has 1 view. When I post on my own personal account, my reels reach a few hundred non-followers. What am I doing wrong? Is there something obvious I'm missing? submitted by /u/ExoticSword [visit re ..read more

Issues with Hootsuite and exposure?

I have been using Hootsuite to promote our company Instagram, and post consistently. We have been doing at least 2 posts a day, every day, for the past 4-5 months. Over 400 posts. And only two of them have ever cleared over 1000 views. What is going on? Is this the client (Hootsuite) impacting the way the platform is performing? Should I be using the IG app exclusively to post? submitted by /u/JustHornyAlways [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Hey guys, I have a tiny following. Less than 50 lol. I just started posting regularly about 3 weeks ago, but I figured I'd have a little bit more than I currently do. Maybe it's normal, but I figure I should reach out for help and learn some tips. My posts are decent quality, but I'm still very much so learning. I think I finally am at a point where my reels are at least average, but I'm b really struggling. I use 8 relevant hashtags, and most of my content is educational. My lighting and film quality is good, but I'm still learning. I'm a psych doctoral student and adjunct prof irl so I shar ..read more

hi guys! i made a new account focusing on lifestyle and beauty content (mini vlogs, makeup, perfumes, etc.) i started about a week ago and i have 62 followers - but a few of them also are my friends and family who followed to support me. i have posted 6 reels as of yet and on an average they get around 1700-1800 views and 90% of the accounts reached (on an average) are non-followers. the problem is, the conversion rate is very little. i have got maybe only 10-11 people following me through my reels. now i know that my stats aren't the worst but just wanted tips as to how can i get more non-fo ..read more

This one mistake is costing you millions of views

You might be surprised, but one crucial mistake creators make is neglecting the retention graph. This graph is vital for understanding how viewers engage with your Reels. Understanding the Retention Graph The retention graph shows you exactly where viewers lose interest in your content. Let's say you create a 30-second Reel, and 100 people watch it. To reach a million views, you ideally want to retain at least 60% of viewers throughout the entire video. This means after the initial hook (around 3 seconds), you need to keep viewers engaged for the next 7-10 seconds. If you achieve this, the al ..read more

I wanted to share with you how to recover a hacked Instagram account, from someone with 7+ years of experience in social media marketing. No fluff. Method 1) https://instagram.com/hacked The first thing I recommend you do is go to the website above. Select “my account was hacked” Then, put in your username / email / phone number. Also do anything else they request like a ‘selfie’ or photo of you with ID. Often times, Meta will get back to you very soon and assist you with recovering your account. If you don’t hear a response though, I recommend refilling this out once a week. Wait times publi ..read more

Struggling to Gain Organic Traffic - Need Advice

Hi everyone… I’m new to instagram and I need some advice. Do you have any idea what I’m doing wrong? I post 4x a week and 1 story a day, yet the only traffic I’m getting is from ads. Once I stop the ads, no one sees my stories, and I don’t get any likes on my posts. Despite having only 1.2k followers, my story views without ads are only 15-25. with ads like count is usually 25-40, without ads 2-5. Is that normal? submitted by /u/stefanks92 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

How to secure 10k follows. Organically or Promoted?

I am creating a travel/luxury page (all content will be mine. Will post luxury locations, cars, watches.. etc) I have about 1000 photos that I can post, Im guessing this is about an year or two worth of content, and for reels I have about 100 videos reel worthy. I just want to grow this page from zero as fast as possible to 10k in order to monetize it. Should I start posting daily and have a slow but steady growth (My fear with this is people usually prefer to not follow or interact with instagram pages with no followers or likes so starting is harder). Or should I do paid ads during a month ..read more
