Before I go into the story, as of today I have information that the Secret Service has no power over the New York Dept of Corrections. What would happen is if Trump is jailed for a week(probably) is, the jury would be given that week off and Trump will be handed over under the protection and jurisdiction of the NY Department of Corrections. It will give the agents a week off and the jury. Inside probably Trump will be assigned guards to protect him 24/7 but I don't see him being in the general population, instead in a one-man cell with the usual open and disgusting toilet an ..read more

In an interview last week, NewsNation’s Blake Burman asked Speaker Mike Johnson about Marjorie Taylor Greene, and before Burman could finish his question, Johnson responded with classic Southern scorn. “Bless her heart,” he said, and then he told Burman that Greene wasn’t proving to be a serious lawmaker and that he didn’t spend a lot of time thinking about her.
Strangely enough, Johnson’s dismissal of Greene — on the eve of her potential effort to oust hi ..read more

MOSCOW (Reuters) - A Russian court fined Alphabet's Google 3 million roubles ($38,600) on Thursday for failing to delete YouTube videos it said promoted "LGBT propaganda" and "false information" about Russia's military campaign in Ukraine, Russian news agencies reported.
Over the last year Moscow has levied dozens of fines against Western tech companies as part of a drive to ramp up control over what Russian internet users see online.

Former President Trump was fined an additional $1,000 on Monday for the latest violation of the gag order in his criminal hush money case in New York, making it his tenth violation.
Why it matters: Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the trial, threatened to jail Trump if he continues to violate the order, which prevents him from commenting on witnesses, prosecutors, court staff, and jurors.

Donald Trump once called Bill Barr, his former attorney general, “Weak, Slow Moving, Lethargic, Gutless, and Lazy.” When Mr. Barr recently endorsed Mr. Trump, rather than express gratitude or graciousness, the former president said, “Based on the fact that I greatly appreciate his wholehearted Endorsement, I am removing the word ‘Lethargic’ from my statement. Thank you Bill. MAGA2024!”

Take the stairs. Your heart will thank you
I don't have a problem with the main media publishing what some scientists have said about a particular study, whether it was well conducted or not. I won't publish studies that in my mind are not backed up by facts. I have listened to this particular way of thinking about stairs vs. elevators or escalators since I was a boy and Im sorry to say that was a long time ago.
My point of view is and I know Im not alone because most people know this idea of ignoring advances in science to make your life easier if not better at your own risk.
