Reflexology views and issues: seminars and lectures in the UK and the continent (as it used to be called), presentations, ART tutors, to demonstrate to reflexologists and the public everywhere, the huge difference between the generally accepted image of reflexology as a gentle, relaxing, beauty type of therapy, with that of proper, authoritative, professional, therapeutically effective reflexology

Back pain is something that most people suffer to varying degrees in their lives. As reflexologists, we are frequently presented with this condition. Although reflexology has a good track record in providing relief, there are those cases that either respond to a degree or not at all.
There are many causes of back pain, and it is these which we need to be aware of. There are structural, primary and secondary causes — it is not only a case of working on the spinal reflexes. In fact, this can have little influence on a successful treatment outcome (unless there was a direct trauma to an area of ..read more

I hosted the first reflexology forum on January 14th, an international event which provoked so much interest that it lasted for three hours!
It was a pleasure to see so many A.R.T. family members and colleagues worldwide and guests sharing their reflexology journeys. Ann is an example of what having a positive attitude can have on our lives — she is a great motivator, just what is needed ..read more
