One of the best shoots I have ever been on was this Adidas shoot with NBA player Donovan Mitchell and his Mom and Sister. Why was it the best… talent was kind, and at the end of the day I was gifted clothing. I didn’t have to buy anything for the shoot just show up and prep/ style out clothing. I had a wardrobe PA and an assistant to help me shift thru 25 boxes and help steam 2 full racks of clothing with in a short period of time. This was shot in Las Vegas during Summer League. On these types of shots I have to sign an NDA and are not able to take BTS footage. Me and one of my favorite peop ..read more

Let me take you into a sneak peak of me styling a casino campaign in Las Vegas. This shoot I had a total of 34 models spread out over 4 days with at least two to four wardrobe changes a day. There were 3 sets. One for video, one for photo, and another one for food photography. 3 sets and one fashion stylist meant I was running around from set to set. My assiant got food poisoning one day 1 at lunch time and returned on day two before lunch. Luckily my husband came to help steam the morning of day two. That day I had to get fourteen models outfits picked out and changed with in 90 minutes. It w ..read more

From years of experience and impromptu fashion miracles, here are whats in my wardrobe stylist kit. My must-hav ..read more

As the old saying goes… behind every great fashion stylist is a kick-ass assistant (or something like that), and it’s true! Having a great assistant that understands what you need help with is really important for your shoot to go smoothly, with as little hair pulling as possible. Here is my Do's and Don'ts of becoming a great assistant stylist. Let’s start with the facts: Assistants typically make $200-$500 a day depending on the job and client. This could be for quick returns or a 14-hour day, again, depending on the job. So what qualities make a good assistant stylist? There are the basics ..read more

If you want to look more "fashionable" per say, you have to learn to layer. Layering doesn't have to make sense, and for the average person it actually doesn't. But when was the last time an average person was perceived as "fashionable"? Here are some general guild-lines to layering. * The thinnest garment should always be worn closest to your skin, and the thickest garment should be worn as the top layer * Place structured pieces on top: choose a top layer with a waistline – a cinched or empire waist, belted waist, blouse with well-placed darts, fitted blazer, cropped jacket or cardigan, anyt ..read more

After going on a trip with the girls, I happen to be the only one that didn't check a bag. I had my long week end packed in a small carry-on. Now truth be told my style is very relaxed, and I rarely pack something I don't wear. Plus I like to shop in different boutiques that are far and few between here in Las Vegas. Since people actually pay me to pack there suit cases here is my top 5 suggestions to not forgetting the essentials What to Pack in Your Suitcase Tip #1- Look up the weather forecast, and start making a list of what you will need (swimsuit, umbrella, go-out clothes, snow-boots etc ..read more

Are you that person that bolts straight to the sale section of the store? I totally get it. Clothing can be extremely expensive, and every penny saved counts. Wearing the hat of a personal stylist, part of my job sometimes includes cleaning out or editing people's wardrobes. On the job, I have seen the down side of ‘sales’ many times - clothes that still have the Sale tags on because they have never been worn. WHY A ‘SALE’ DOESN’T ALWAYS ‘SAVE’ YOU MONEY Here is a typical scenario: You cannot bring yourself to spend $150 dollars on a pair of jeans. So instead you buy 3 pairs of jeans that look ..read more

I am going to blame being born and raised in Las Vegas for my love of all things glitz and glamor. If it has some flash in some way, shape, or form I will likely like it. With my causal laid back style it is only natural that I dress down sequins every chance I get. Sequins is great to dress things up but it is my speciality to show you how to dress down sequins. How to Dress Down Sequin I like to dress down sequins with softer lighter fabrics such as distressed denim, worn in cotton, and wool. For example: I might also pair the sequin skirt I'm wearing with a white button up collared shirt, a ..read more
