November 5th 2016 members of the Bulgarian Voices of Seattle Women’s Choir with Misho Lawson welcomed the public to celebrate their first performance and study tour of Bulgaria. Choir members decorated St Demetrios’ beautiful banquet hall with the colors of Bulgaria, brought delicious home cooked food, and donned their finest traditional costumes. The public was welcomed with traditional bread and salt and enjoyed an evening of music, food and conversation about what the tour meant to each of us. From there the relationship continued long distance between Arizona and Michigan.
