Less is more. As Micro weddings become more popular, it becomes easier for couples to be freed from the guilt of hosting a huge wedding; without feeling the pressure to do what’s traditional expected. More and more couples are focusing on celebrating their love in a fun, memorial economic way; instead of having a huge traditional wedding by throwing an expensive, lavish party. There is no magic number that defines a Micro wedding, but we suggest under 20 people. The less people you have, the more you keep costs down. Make your wedding budget go farther and have all the things you’ve dream ..read more

Did you know that Valley of Fire is amazing all year long? Most couples look to get married in the Spring or the Fall. March, April, May, and then, September, October, and November; the most popular months of the year to get married. But the winter months are also amazing weather out in the Southwest of North America. December, January, and February bring a break from the crowds and fighting wedding dates. The temperatures around Valentine’s Day are usually very mild, light jacket weather. Perfect for a small micro wedding or an elopement. With Vegas being the wedding capital of the world, yo ..read more

Yes, we are usually at Valley of Fire but we had the fun treat of being able to organize this wedding at the adorable wedding venue of Cactus Joe’s Blue Diamond Nursery. And before we tell you all about this wedding, we have to gush about how cool this venue space is. Ashley, the event coordinator at Cactus Joe’s, was so kind, she helped us get settled into decorating the space. Cactus Joe himself came over to meet us; he was adorable and excited that we were using a new area of the venue. Most weddings there use the center nursery but we wanted to be by the UFO. Since Jesse & Christine l ..read more

Morning Desert Elopement Wedding | Joshua & Jen

Morning in the desert has a special light, bright and saturated with golden tones. It was a perfect backdrop for this pretty in pink and blue tones wedding. The couple had known each other since high school but went their separate ways and only got together later in life. Jen knew that it was love before Josh knew. There was a night back in 2016 when they were hanging out with friends after an event and everyone there knew Jen had eyes on Josh. Joshua had no idea. Jen kissed Josh that night, and she told him she loved him. The rest is history. With an adventurous proposal, Joshua proposed to ..read more

Hopelessly Devoted Vibrant Desert Ceremony | Pamela & Ben

A subtle hacienda vibe with bold blues and family-supported details, this was truly a wedding of devotion. Pamela & Ben spent the whole day quietly whispering how much they loved each other and how happy they were while looking in each other’s eyes. Was beautiful to see the way they really drank in the moments of their wedding day. But we digress – back to the beginning! We are so happy when our couples choose to add in Getting Ready Photography Coverage because it lets us tell the whole story of their wedding day. Staying together at a large rental property in Las Vegas, our photographer ..read more

Handfasting and Bagpipes Wedding Ceremony | Melissa & Chaz
Cactus & Lace Weddings | Las Vegas Wedding Planning

We have all the most important elements here with none of the fluff; a simple and sweet ceremony unites a new family, then a simple charcuterie board and cake before portraits at sunset. But that doesn’t mean we didn’t have the good stuff; a touching handfasting ceremony and the bagpipes accompanied by Scottish kilts and custom jackets made this humble micro elopement into a true experience. Maybe it’s just because we are a team made up of all moms, but we just loved how much they included their son Ian. They literally made him part of every single thing they did; from walking down the aisle ..read more

A Vegas Elopement in the Desert and on the Strip | Amy & Dale

Amy took photos of everything! She was so in love with the wedding decor and setup that we did for them, that she could not help herself and had her phone out the whole time. (Except during the ceremony, of course.) Eventually, we just took her phone from her; made videos, and took photos on her phone for her. Her giddy demeanor was just so enduring, that we couldn’t help but fall in love with her too. Amy, you are adorable! More adorable things that Amy did – she had Dale wear a blindfold the entire ride from Vegas to Valley of Fire so that he wouldn’t see her before the wedding while they r ..read more

Off-Beat Desert Micro Wedding Ceremony | Ellie & Lewis

Ellie & Lewis were a VIBE! With a 70’s UK rock n’ roll energy, this couple celebrated formalizing their union with a Mirco wedding for just a few close family members. It was special for us to watch how close-knit and supportive their family is; everyone radiated love for these two. We loved Ellie and Lewis’ style! Ellie had chains adorning a gorgeous cream-colored silk dress. Plus a hat over her fringe bangs, completing the look with white chained boots. Lewis had on a pin-striped vest and bold red tie, complementing Ellie’s attire perfectly. We love it when couples are completely themse ..read more
