about a week ago i changed my jewellery to another titanium based (the only one i had at the time) because i was pierced with the wrong jewellery. i was also informed that it was pierced too low. i wanted go give it another chance and see if the bump will go down since i heard septums are a little forgiving compared to other piercings from the looks of it and considering it has only been a week. it looks less red, it doesnt bleed nor puss anymore and doesnt hurt at all (not even when cleaning)which was honestly better than last week (it was bleeding,red as hell and puss a little) but honestly ..read more

Howdy friends. So, last June I got my conch piercing on my right ear. It is still healing and sometimes gets the crusties but there is no more swelling or pain. So, I am graduating this year from college and my last college goodbye is going to be a final ear piercing to balance out my ears (left has a rook, helix, and three lobes and the right has three lobes and the conch). I plan on doing some sort of cartliage piercing on my right ear (with the conch) but I'm wondering if it's too soon? I plan on getting it done late may early June. I got my tragus piercing done 8 months ago and it hasn't healed yet. I struggle with noise sensitivity and not being able to use ear plugs has been uncomfortable (to say the least). I clean it regularly (about 4/5 times a week as I read over-cleaning can delay healing too). Has enough time passed that I can use ear plugs again or do I need to wait until it's completely healed? My VCH has had a straight barbell (1.6 x 8mm I think) in it for years, but it always sticks right out the top, with the bottom ball right up the top of the hood, it never sits with one ball at the top and the other just showing at the bottom like you see in photos. I've always assumed this is normal but figured it's worth asking if it isn't? It’s genuinely making me feel so embarrassed, I’ve had it for a while but it was going and now I am travelling abroad and it decided to swell up and look disgusting.
