Hi! Septums can be a bit of a strange piercing when it comes to this sort of thing, and I don’t want to generalize too much on a yes or no here. While “it’s just swelling” can often be an excuse used to hide a crooked piercing, initial swelling can sometimes cause septum piercings to appear less than perfectly straight for a few days to a week or so.
