In this video I install a moderix floating shelf. You might also notice from my tone that I’m not happy about installing this shelf, but I guess it was cheap! Anyway, it was installed onto a solid wall, as requested by the purchaser ..read more

The Milwaukee M18 long reach chainsaw and hedge trimmer are both superb pieces of kit. I have owned both for roughly 3 years and have used both of them plenty of times. Both attachments work using the Milwaukee power head M18 FOPH, which will work with any Milwaukee M18 battery. I’m slowly moving over to Milwaukee tools, as they seem to be the best available for the price I can afford to pay. The Milwaukee hedge trimmer and long reach chain saw is much better than a petrol driven version, as it is much quieter and does not pollute the area with fumes etc ..read more

In this video I make a temporary repair to a Hotpoint washing machine, where the paddle lifter has become detached from the drum. The new part was ordered weeks back, so the machine has done over 20 washes with no issues ..read more

This video follows on from this previous video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhV-TqTquZM&pp I made this using some off cuts of phenolic mesh faced plywood, which I picked up from Peter Bensons https://www.pbplywood.com/ The chain was purchased from James Gibsons - https://www.jamesgibsononline.co.uk/ Both of these businesses are in my local town of Darwen. I bought the 90-degree lock hinges and reflective tape from eBay. The truck load extender is great for when I need to move my Lobo scaffolding onto site, as I can easily load it into the extender and strap it down to the vehicles bed ..read more

Pickup trucks are useful, but they are often let down by the lack of usable space in the bed area. One thing that has always annoyed me, is that moving my Lobo scaffold to site has always been difficult, as the scaffold platforms and the Lobo handrails are too long to fit in the bed area. By spending roughly 4 hours and £60 on materials, I made this bed extender, which makes moving my scaffold much easier! Only the week before I had to move the scaffold and had to strap two of the platforms to the roof rack of the vehicle, which is hard work due to the height etc ..read more

In this video I install two Umbra sticks wall hooks, I’m not sure where the girlfriend bought these from, but here is their website- https://uk.umbra.com/products/sticks-wall-hooks I always use a spirit level when installing keyhole type fixings, but you might find it easier using the paper rule provided. I’d just like to point out that I’m not affiliated in any way with Umbra ..read more

There are hundreds of websites selling UPVC door handles, or Euro lock type handles. These types of handles are very common on UPVC doors and French doors. Replacing the handles is normally very easy, unless you can’t get the handles with the correct hole centres. This video shows how to drill new fixing holes in the UPVC door, so that a near fit pair of handles can be installed. The Mila Prolinea handles in this video were bought from Screwfix for £27.79 ..read more
