I tried to score and snap the long side of a 600mm (2ft) tile and failed. Should this work or do I need to cut it? submitted by /u/Which-Adeptness6908 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I was talking with another handyman and he was telling me from his experience his customers who are women give him no issues. He says most of his issues come from male customers “Who have a little resentment that they had to hire another male to come fix something in their house when they felt like they could do it.” I will say most of the time women reach out for my services because their husband has failed to fix something What do you guys think? submitted by /u/VegetablePromise5466 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Is there a different place for people pursuing the career? I deal with people complaining about pricing and dogging on peoples’ work everyday and there’s a lot of that here too. submitted by /u/Kind-Dream1912 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Handymen of reddit! I have a client that wants this deck pressure washed and re-stained. It's in rough shape and they aren't expecting much more than a face lift for the summer. I am aware the proper way to take care of this is to strip the existing stain but they just want it washed and stain slapped on. So my question is...HoW mUcH sHoUlD I cHaRgE? I'm kidding!!! Real talk...anyone have advice on how much stain is needed? Probably 2 coats? They have a dog also...is there any recommendations on any kind of pet friendly cleaner or should I just pressure wash and stain? They are not picky at a ..read more

Is this piping or water leakage?

This seems to have shown up in our kitchen ceiling.. could have been there longer than we realized since we recently moved. Would this likely be due to moisture issues in the drywall, a leaking pipe or from a leak in the ceiling washroom on the floor above? We have no idea with where to start with this submitted by /u/latincanadian25 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
