I've been feeling really grumpy for about a month and I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I feel like I'm doing everything right to have a good mood.

About a month ago I started feeling kind of off emotionally. Like I just started waking up every day feeling not very excited for the day. Just kind of emotionally numb. More critical and angry than notmal. Usually I'm not like that. I can't figure out why and it has been very consistent for the whole month. Relevant context: - I'm 27f - healthy BMI - I take vitamin d, vitamin c and omega 3 every day - I exercise at least every other day, either a 1.5 h walk, a 5k run, weight training, yoga or a YouTube pilates workout - I'm on a diet (have been since march) eating 1200 cals per day and will ..read more

Why is it so hard for us to be heard?

I've just addressed concerns for POTS with a third PCP -- and again, been told to just try taking some more vitamins (which she based on the bloodwork I had done LAST YEAR) because that should help resolve all the issues. My husband is always telling me I should talk to the doctor about XYZ, or asking why I don't just go to the doctor for something... and this is why. Because I'm tired of being told to drink more water, take vitamins, or just "try to rest/get more sleep," etc. Like...I don't bring up POTS (or whatever other concern it might be) for shits and giggles. It's because I've kept tr ..read more

I’m 22 and I found a lump in my breast- how concerned should I be and what should i do?

So I noticed this lump a while ago- I feel like it could be a cyst because it feels like it has round edges and it seems like it might be filled with fluid or something, it definitely gets a lot bigger right before menstruation and gets smaller afterwards. I’m worried though because it does cause some soreness and it’s been a few months and it never completely goes away- I think it might’ve even gotten a bit bigger but I can’t tell if I’m being paranoid or not. I’ve tried looking into screenings in my area (Charlotte nc) but all of my online searches point towards mammograms which I’m too you ..read more

Burning/Irritated Armpits Before Period

Hi! I have my annual appt in a couple of weeks but in the meantime has anyone experience burning/irritation in your armpits the week or so before your period? This is new-ish to me. I’m 38 and this has probably been going on the last 5-6 months. I have some weight to lose so I assumed it was from that/sweating but I’ve noticed the pattern now and wondering if it’s hormonal or something I should be worrying about. Thank you! submitted by /u/Fast-End924 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Not sure why but randomly remembered that i’ve had it since about the age of 5 and never heard of anyone else having it this young. I looked it up, and it says you get it about 6months to a year before your first period. I didn’t get my period til I was 15. Is this normal? submitted by /u/Hot-Swan-58 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Constant boob pain

Im used to having boob pain (like sensitive when i touch it) before my period and that pain disappears during the period, but 2 or 3 months ago, the pain didn't disappear and has been constant eversince. I read that it's most likely hormonal, but i didn't start any pill, nor am i pregnant, and it doesn't want to go away, even with a progesterone gel that's supposed to help with boob pain. The gynecologist didn't seemed worried but i am because i can't see the origin of my hormonal change, is that something that can happen without a reason like that ?? submitted by /u/le_m_ony [visit reddit ..read more

I’m curious to know if any other women have been through this because I’m two months in and I’m MISERABLE. About a month ago I thought I had a UTI and my doctor put me on antibiotics and nothing changed, then I was given an ointment to treat BV and nothing changed. I noticed that the pain was localised to the vulvar vestibule area exterior at the opening of my vagina. The pain can range from a pins and needles feeling to stinging, burning, pain during sex (which I am not currently doing with my partner and my doctor kinda shamed me for this??!??!!! And said “well use lube” IM IN TOO MUCH PAIN ..read more

I (25 f) have PCOS and possible endo. My period has no signs of stopping and I've been prescribed tranexamic acid but that doesn't seem to be helping. My doctor doesn't seem too concerned which is frustrating as I just want this to end. I'm also not on BC as I'm TTC and blood test have confirmed that i'm definitely not pregnant. Any help or advice is appreciated submitted by /u/MikaelaAlice639 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
