The other days being 2000 to 2500. For context, I am nineteen years old. I am 5'1 and around 53-56kg so I'm not exactly skinny or tall. However, I walk over 10k steps a day, sometimes 20k. I play badminton once a week as well, used to go to the gym so I still have some muscle but because of university (college) and part-time, I stopped. I wake up at half 7, get to uni at 9 and work until 8pm. It's not intense but rather more due to the amount of work. When I go home, I usually work more until 12pm to 2am. I eat yoghurt or skyr with ganola in the morning, two snacks midday then a carb and prot ..read more

I (33F) am getting a IUD tomorrow after 3 different oral BC in a row caused allergic reactions and I'm kind of panicking. I've been fighting irregular cycles, PCOS, extremely heavy periods and now uterine ployps(diagnosed this past year) since I got my cycle at 11. I had a Polypectomy last year and things have actually gotten worse after it to the point I actually changed doctors because the one who did the surgery basically told me he couldn't do anything else. My new doctor recommended trying the IUD as almost a last ditch but even she is somewhat concerned about my history with synthetic h ..read more

Back story : in my 30s. I have very routine period cycle. I do not use birth control and haven’t in a decade. My period comes exactly on time every month +/- by one day. I’ve never had issues with my cycle. Starting last year maybe in October? I started to spot between my periods. Always during ovulation and I would have very brown ovulation discharge. I also had pain on my right side. My period came same time anyway. I also had really bad acne outbreak (cystic) all on my cheeks and jaw. My bloodwork was all normal. Tested for all the basics. Made an appt for gyno next month. Recently I got i ..read more

Lump in armpit, ultrasound could not pick it up? Should I be concerned?

25, F, grandmother had breast c*ncer. I went in for my first OBGYN appointment ever in march. First my Pap smear came back abnormal, but after testing my sample for any signs of cervical c*ncer I was cleared. I did start my period that day so that may have caused my abnormal result. During the breast screening my doctor noticed a lump in my armpit that she described as “fluid-like” and it did hurt when she pressed on it. I realized I have noticed pain in my armpit for years, but assumed it was from deodorant or shaving (I notice that same pain more so after doing those things). She ordered an ..read more

I went to sleep last night and there was no blood. Woke up and went to that bathroom boom blood. It’s not enough for a tampon or anything but just enough where it makes the tissue when I wipe super bloody. submitted by /u/Ok-Nefariousness34 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I recently developed this rash and it’s just been spreading and it’s been 2weeks. I also am surrounded in an environment where it’s very humid and heat rashes are common. It doesn’t seem/ look like heat rashes but rather like eczema? It’s dry and only itchy when i touch it. There’s no puss development or anything. It’s not like red bumps like insect bites too. It started from my chest and now it’s spreading to my neck and back. I’ve only started to get on birth control recently and it didn’t show up until the end of the first pack. I saw documents of where a rash like develops because of the ..read more

Uterine polyp. Any advice?

From December to March I didn’t get my period. It’s not unusual for my period to be late or skip a month so I wasn’t too worried at first. Fast forward to March 29. I went to my gyno and had an ultrasound and they found a polyp on my uterus. For the month of March I was bleeding off and on. My doctor suggested either surgery to remove the polyp or I could try birth control and see if it removes itself. I opted for birth control (Sylnd 4MG) that didn’t stop the bleeding so I went back and decided to do the surgery. I was prescribed norethindrone 5mg to hopefully stop it the bleeding. Breast Cancer risk

Hi, I've been worried lately about my family history of breast cancer. My mother had progesterone receptive (?) breast cancer diagnosed at 49 and is now cancer free (She's 63). My maternal great aunt (one out of 4 sisters and one brother) had metastasic triple-negative breast cancer at 64 and died from it. I have no other family history of breast or ovarian cancer on either side. My mom didn't get genetic testing and my gyno told me I didn't need genetic testing, just early screening, since my moms cancer is 'sporadic'. What should I do? Also, my mother has fibrocystic breasts, I don't, I don ..read more
